Steil Joins First District Company at White House for Made in America Product Showcase
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Bryan Steil attended the White House's Made in America Product Showcase. Franklin based Carma Laboratories, Inc., maker of Carmex lip balm, represented Wisconsin at the White House.
"Wisconsin manufacturing and ingenuity were on full display at the White House. Wisconsin workers and entrepreneurs manufacture the best products in the world. I'm proud that Southeast Wisconsin manufacturing was recognized on the national stage. Carmex employs many in our community and is a leader in the lip balm industry. We must continue to support Wisconsin workers and expand investment opportunities in our area," said Steil.
At the White House, Steil joined Kristen Gourlie, Marketing Associate and Paul Woelbing, President of Carmex. The company employs more than 200 workers at its headquarters in Franklin. The Made in America Product Showcase invites one company from each state to display their product.
