Steil Headed to Southern Border with Speaker Johnson Tomorrow

Washington, D.C.- Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) will join Speaker Johnson and several of his Republican colleagues tomorrow in Eagle Pass, TX. At the border, they will meet with state and local officials to discuss the situation at the border and the failures of current border policies.

“Our southern border is not secure – and it’s creating a real national security, public health, and humanitarian crisis at the border and in Wisconsin,” said Steil. “At the meeting, I will hear directly from those on the frontlines and see firsthand the effects of the Biden administration’s failed border policies.”
