Services
As of 12:01 a.m. on October 1, funding for many federal government operations has lapsed. Despite continued brinksmanship in Washington, I am continuing my work to support Wisconsin families and reopen the federal government. I have also asked that my pay be withheld for the duration of the federal shutdown. If our troops, federal law enforcement, and essential employees like air traffic control, do not receive pay, members of Congress should also not be collecting a paycheck.
Despite the shutdown, my office is here to help residents of Wisconsin's 1st District with issues they are facing. My offices will remain open and staffed throughout the shutdown. While many federal agencies may have slower response times and lower staffing levels, we can still submit requests and advocate on your behalf. Please find a list of ways I can help you and your family during the government shutdown below. For more information on shutdown resources, please click here.
