Steil Named to Task Force on Financial Technology

WASHINGTON, D.C.— House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters and Ranking Member Patrick McHenry named Bryan Steil to the Financial Services Committee Task Force on Financial Technology (Fintech). 11 Financial Services Committee members were appointed to the bipartisan Task Force in addition to Steil.

"Businesses in Wisconsin are using new technologies to help people access financial services. Technology can improve banking, consumer protection, and accessibility. The Task Force will explore how technology can allow people to efficiently and securely make payments. As our world becomes more digitally dependent, it's important to modernize financial services," said Steil.
