Steil Participates in Coronavirus Briefing with Vice President Pence at White House
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Bryan Steil was one of 14 lawmakers at the White House for a briefing on the coronavirus. Vice President Mike Pence briefed Steil and his colleagues on ongoing efforts to combat the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.
"I had a productive meeting at the White House with Vice President Pence and congressional leaders focused on the coronavirus. We must ensure the federal government provides necessary resources to address this disease. Funding will be used to develop a vaccine, allocate testing kits to states, and support prevention measures," said Steil.
At the briefing, Vice President Pence provided an update on the global spread of the coronavirus. Steil, lawmakers, and Vice President Pence discussed potential impacts of the coronavirus in the United States.
