Steil to Host Children’s Mental Health Forum
Bryan Steil will host a Children's Mental Health Forum for parents and families in Southeast Wisconsin on August 1, 2019. Panelists include experts from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Education, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Racine Collaborative for Children's Mental Health, and Racine County Human Services office. This is an opportunity for parents and families to learn from experts and to discuss best practices regarding mental health.
Those interested in attending can RSVP by emailing: SteilRSVP@mail.house.gov.
"As parents and teachers prepare for school this fall, we will discuss the importance of mental health to the success of our children. Bringing awareness to mental health will reduce the stigma and allow our community to discuss best practices to support students and their education," said Steil.
