WASHINGTON, D.C.--Today, Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) introduced H.R. 1953, the No Taxpayer-Funded Checks for Prisoners Act, preventing federal prisoners currently incarcerated from receiving taxpayer money through the Pelosi Payoff, a $1.9 trillion liberal spending wish list that passed both chambers by party line votes and was signed into law last week. Congressmen Glenn Grothman (WI-06), Mike Gallagher (WI-08), and Scott Perry (PA-10) are cosponsors of the bill.
