Steil's bill prevents those trying to avoid U.S. sanctions against the Iranian regime by using a loophole known as INSTEX. Financial Services Committee members French Hill (AR-02), Lee Zeldin (NY-01), Lance Gooden (TX-05), and William Timmons (SC-04) are original cosponsors.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01), along with a group of colleagues, introduced the Keystone XL Pipeline Construction and Jobs Preservation Act. This bill allows the Keystone XL Pipeline to be built. On President Biden's first day in office, Biden revoked the presidential permit for the pipeline, eliminating thousands of American jobs. This bill reverses that action.
