"I am saddened to hear about the passing of Cheryl Sensenbrenner. Throughout her life, Cheryl fought to protect the rights of the disabled and worked to better millions of Americans' lives. Cheryl has left a powerful legacy as an advocate for Americans with disabilities, a loving wife to Jim, and a caring mother to Frank and Bob. She will be deeply missed. My prayers are with Jim and the Sensenbrenner family during this difficult time."

JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN—The Republican Study Committee (RSC) has endorsed Bryan Steil's bill, H.R. 6015, the Stop Evasion of Iran Sanctions Act, as part of RSC's National Security Strategy: Strengthening America and Countering Global Threats. Steil has been a member of the RSC since 2019 and is a member of the RSC National Security and Foreign Affairs Task Force.

JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN—Today, Bryan Steil urged the State Department to immediately address the backlog in U.S. passport applications. Numerous constituents of Wisconsin's First Congressional District have reached out to Steil regarding delayed passport applications due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. There is a reported nationwide backlog of 1.6 million passport applications.

JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN—Today, Bryan Steil announced that the City of Racine received $649,751 to assist homeless families and individuals suffering from coronavirus. Funding was authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act which Steil supported.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Bryan Steil is working to protect seniors from criminal scammers preying upon our emotions during the coronavirus crisis. Steil introduced H.R. 7002, the Stop Coronavirus Scams Act. Steil's bill enhances penalties on criminals who knowingly traffic counterfeit drugs, mislabeled masks, and other false products during the coronavirus crisis.

JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN—Bryan Steil joined eight of his House and Senate colleagues, Republicans and Democrats, to ask the Administration to increase oversight and prevent economic impact payments from being made to deceased individuals. Steil also cosponsored H.R. 2543, the Stopping Improper Payments to Deceased People Act.
