WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, House Financial Services Committee member, Rep. Bryan Steil (WI-01), introduced H.R. 6015, the Stop Evasion of Iran Sanctions Act. Steil's bill gives the Secretary of the Treasury the explicit authority to sanction a financial institution operating outside the United States that knowingly conducts a significant sanctionable transaction related to the Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges (INSTEX).

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Bryan Steil testified before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on the need to support Great Lakes funding. Specifically, Steil requested that the Great Lakes Coastal Resiliency Study and the Brandon Road Project are funded in the 2020 Water Resources Development Act (WRDA).

RACINE, WISCONSIN—Today, Bryan Steil announced that the Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership was awarded $1,998,251 in federal funding through the Department of Labor's Apprenticeship: Closing the Skills Gap grant program. The Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership has an office in Racine dedicated to serving our Southeast Wisconsin community.
