JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN—Today, Bryan Steil announced changes to the Artistic Discovery Contest to help high school students compete while unable to be in their classrooms. The artwork submission deadline has been moved to May 14th and artwork submissions must now be sent via email.

JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN—Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) introduced a bill to rescind the $25 million in funding for the Kennedy Center included in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Steil's bill has 13 cosponsors, including Republican Whip Steve Scalise.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Bryan Steil spoke on the House floor on the importance of supporting families and workers struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic. The House passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act by voice vote.

Since in-person town hall meetings are off the table for the foreseeable future, Congressman Bryan Steil, R-Janesville, and Department of Health Services Secretary Andrea Palm held a telephone town hall about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and government's response at the state and national level.

During his opening statements, Steil pointed to the two bills that have passed the house in response to the pandemic but admitted that the county's capacity for testing for coronavirus was lagging behind.

JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN— Congressman Bryan Steil's offices are open for constituents to receive assistance. However, walk-in meetings will now require an appointment. If constituents need help with a federal agency or want to share an opinion, they can contact one of Steil's four offices by phone, email, or mail. If an in-person meeting with Steil or his staff is needed, an appointment is temporarily required.
