Just before 5 a.m. March 18, Racine County Sheriff's Deputy Eric Schneider was getting gas for his squad car before he went home for the night when a call came in for a house fire.

Bryan Steil will hold three listening sessions in the First District on Friday, May 24, 2019. For those who are unable to attend in-person on that date, Steil is hosting a telephone town hall today, May 20, 2019 at 6:30pm CT.
This marks nine listening sessions in Steil's first five months in office. Steil previously held six listening sessions, one in each county in the First District, in February. Steil also held three previous telephone town halls.
