WASHINGTON, D.C.—Bryan Steil released a statement following his vote against H.R. 9, the Climate Action Now Act.
"Global climate change is real. To reduce carbon emissions, we must hold China and India accountable. We also need a technology-based approach," said Steil. "The Paris Agreement fails to hold China and India accountable, making the Agreement unworkable. Heavy-handed federal regulations drive up energy costs. Instead, we must encourage technology developments to address climate change."

Where is the proposed budget plan?
WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, Bryan Steil released a statement after voting to reauthorize the bipartisan Violence Against Women Act.
"We must protect women and girls from heinous crimes. The programs funded under VAWA support survivors, coordinate efforts between health officials and law enforcement agencies, and increase education and prevention efforts. Domestic abuse is too serious of an issue for political games."
VAWA expired on February 15 after House leadership failed to bring an extension to the House floor.
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Bryan Steil co-authored a bipartisan letter calling for federal funds to address trauma-informed care. Steil also joined the Trauma-Informed Care Caucus spearheaded by former Wisconsin First Lady Tonette Walker and co-chaired by Congressman Mike Gallagher (WI-08).
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Bryan Steil helped introduce the WAGE Equity Act along with Rep. Elise Stefanik (NY-21). The WAGE Equity Act gives employees flexibility while negotiating salary, time-off, and other work arrangements.

This empowers women in the workforce. Rather than punishing job creators, our proposal allows workers to negotiate better compensation."
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Bryan Steil released a statement following his vote against overriding the president's veto of a bill terminating the national emergency at our southern border.
"As I've said before, my vote won't change. Today, I voted against the attempt to override the president's veto. I support increased funding to secure our border."
RACINE, WI—At an event with members from VFW Post 10301 in Racine, Bryan Steil announced that he is seeking a Wounded Warrior fellow to serve in Wisconsin's First Congressional District.
